Digital Transformation Specialist

As a Digital Transformation Specialist, you will drive sales excellence and digital transformation discussions with customers, while scaling partnerships and collaborations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in technology-related sales or account management and excellent business acumen. They are able to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, demonstrating empathy, approachability, and respect.

The role involves conducting end-to-end business management in assigned territories, developing territory plans to drive intentional selling aligned with strategic priorities. The candidate will collaborate with partners and resources to explore emerging opportunities and support senior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting initial conversations with customers to understand their needs and collaborating with internal teams to recommend solutions or products within an assigned area.
  • Applying Microsoft's sales process to evaluate opportunity quality and articulate how the three-cloud platform can enable digital transformations.
  • Cross-selling, up-selling, and co-selling products, solutions, and services by collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Participating in internal technical discussions, learning about competitors, and collaborating with Digital Solution Engineers to position Microsoft favorably against competitors.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field AND 2+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 3+ years of such experience.
- Specific market language fluency as needed.
- Business Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships, demonstrating empathy, approachability, and respect.
- Consultative Selling: Ability to understand customer needs through dialogue before recommending solutions.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to manage conflicts and sensitivities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Decision Making: Ability to make decisions in fast-paced, changing environments considering resources, costs, and trade-offs.
- Creativity: Applying ingenuity and imagination in designing products, services, or initiatives.
- Negotiation: Achieving mutually satisfying agreements through effective communication and collaboration.
- Microsoft Products: Knowledge of Microsoft products/services and participation in technical discussions. Fundamental credentials/certifications on Microsoft or competitive Cloud and AI platforms.
