Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. This is a newly created role that offers a unique opportunity to build the local medical function from scratch and contribute to the launch of an innovative therapy for neuromuscular diseases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry, with therapeutic experience or interest in rare disease, neurology, immunology, rheumatology or haematology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Building strong partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in neurology, immunology and rare diseases.
  • Leading pre-launch engagement and supporting the local execution of medical strategy in Queensland.
  • Representing the company at major scientific conferences and engaging with clinical trial sites.
  • Using evidence-based communication to build advocacy and influence external decision-makers.
Requirements
  • A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (postgraduate qualifications are a plus).
  • Previous experience in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Therapeutic experience or interest in rare disease, neurology, immunology, rheumatology or haematology.
