In this role, you will be part of our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team at Newman Operations, where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of heavy-duty equipment, including drills, excavators, trucks, and auxiliary equipment. Your primary duties will include performing preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting complex issues.

You will work closely with your supervisor and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve safety performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Australian Recognised Heavy Mechanical Qualifications
  • Technical/mechanical sound skills with Liebherr, CAT, Cummins and/or Epiroc
  • Demonstrated diagnostics and breakdown experience with ideally both trucks & ancillary equipment
  • Dogging, Rigging and Forklift Licenses are desirable
  • Commitment to Safety, Quality and Attention to Detail
  • Computer literacy and/or experience in 1SAP
  • Safety first mentality
