Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate psychologists to join our multidisciplinary teams across South Australia.

About the Roles
  • AHP1 – Provisional Psychologist: Participate in interdisciplinary teams, assist with developing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions, and work under close supervision while building foundational skills and experience. Key responsibilities include assisting with assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing support to students and families.
  • AHP2 – Psychologist: Deliver targeted assessments and interventions to children and students with increasingly complex needs, collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals, and operate with professional direction and support from a Senior Psychologist. Responsibilities include leading assessments, developing and implementing interventions, and mentoring junior team members.
  • AHP2 – Psychologist (Flexible Services): Provide assessment and intervention through flexible delivery modes, work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support students and children remotely, and be part of a dynamic and adaptable team meeting the evolving needs of students. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and strong communication skills.
  • AHP3 – Psychologist (Self-Regulation Service): Contribute to system-wide strategies to enhance self-regulation in preschools and schools, work alongside occupational therapists and educators to model and deliver interventions, and help develop professional learning resources and support data-driven service improvements. This role requires expertise in self-regulation strategies, leadership skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • AHP3 – Psychologist: Provide expert psychological services and mentorship to other professionals, work with students with complex and co-morbid conditions, lead in the development and delivery of advanced interventions, provide supervision and professional support to AHP1 and AHP2 psychologists, and contribute to service development, innovation, and quality improvement. This role requires advanced clinical skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in complex case management.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based interventions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
