Position Overview:

The Service Delivery Manager for Passenger Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational performance of dnata's Passenger Services at Sydney International Airport. This position emphasizes client satisfaction and the fulfillment of commitments made to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a client-focused, commercially viable operation, managing and coordinating all work areas during operational days.
  • Lead and supervise the daily passenger services operations at the airport.
  • Oversee the management, monitoring, and evaluation of Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure diverse expectations and demands are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with the management team to create and execute communication strategies and business plans that foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Establish and manage effective rosters and budgets to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Develop and enforce business processes and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Provide analytical reports and metrics on critical business performance indicators.
  • Promote a positive safety culture within the team, emphasizing awareness and proactive measures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the aviation sector.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience in managing personnel within the aviation industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Extensive experience in engaging and motivating staff to meet diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Prior experience in a highly regulated industry, with a focus on compliance and industry standards.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial management and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A degree in Aviation or Business Management.
  • Other relevant higher education qualifications.
