Healthcare Artificial Intelligence Specialist

Job Description
">- As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing advanced artificial intelligence algorithms that power next-generation medical image analysis platforms.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising clinicians, engineers, designers, and external partners to bring ideas from conception through deployment.
- Designing robust deep learning models capable of identifying complex patterns in imaging data while ensuring these solutions meet stringent clinical requirements is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
">- Develop sophisticated deep learning and computer vision algorithms aimed at detecting a wide range of medical conditions from both image and textual data.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of medical professionals, engineers, and designers to deliver comprehensive products from initial concept through data collection, algorithm exploration, development, testing, validation, and integration into production environments.
- Engage with clients to understand their unique requirements and work together to create AI solutions that address specific clinical needs effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in deep learning and computer vision by reading relevant publications; implement cutting-edge algorithms from academic literature into practical applications.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- A postgraduate qualification - preferably a PhD - in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or a related discipline combined with significant relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
- Hands-on experience developing complex machine learning models using modern frameworks such as Python-based libraries (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow).
- Demonstrated expertise applying deep learning techniques for image classification and diagnostic algorithm development using open-source tools like Theano or Caffe.
- Proven track record working with independent software vendors specialising in machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of statistics, probability theory, data modelling principles as well as software development techniques essential for analytics implementation.
