Artificial Intelligence Strategist

At the forefront of innovation, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our artificial intelligence initiatives. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our mission to decarbonize iron ore operations through cutting-edge AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for AI systems and solutions, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Create compelling business cases for new AI projects, including value opportunity sizing, delivery models, and stakeholder buy-in.
- Conduct data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features, ensuring clear documentation for development teams.
- Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria for each sprint and reviewing results.
- Establish and track performance metrics for solutions in production, focusing on adoption and impact.
- In collaboration with technical leaders, determine the essential competencies and skills required for the delivery team.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines, with a proven track record of technical project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas across multiple business areas.
- Strong business acumen and high-level understanding of product delivery, including agile development methodologies.
- Experience with modern product development tools, including agile development, OKR methodologies, lean testing, and user research.
- Proven expertise in AI solutions and systems driving efficiency and productivity improvements in mining or heavy industrial applications.
