Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Renal Medicine Specialist Pharmacist. The role involves providing high quality clinical pharmacy services within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment, with a speciality focus on renal medicine including site based and at home dialysis services.


The successful candidate will participate in the Advanced Pharmacy Registrar Training Program over two years, with access to strong leadership, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Upon successful completion of the registrar training program, you will retain a permanent Grade 2 clinical pharmacist position.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to renal and dialysis unit patients
  • Contribute to timely patient care across all transitions
  • Support education and mentorship of interns and junior pharmacists
  • Act as a reference point for clinical advice in training area
  • Participate in quality improvement and/or research activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Registered pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy (desirable)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in delivery of hospital pharmacy services (desirable)
