The role of Contract Administrator plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless delivery. It is responsible for supporting the procurement strategy, managing head and subcontract variations, overseeing claims processes, finalizing contracts, and compiling monthly reports with the team.
About You- Proven experience in contract administration, particularly in major building developments, is essential. Self-motivated individuals with resilience to tackle obstacles are highly valued.
- Key requirements include commercial experience on site, preferably within 3-6 years, along with skills in construction management software such as CHEOPS and Aconex.
This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills will also benefit those applying for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Support procurement strategy to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Manage head and subcontract variations according to agreed terms.
- Oversee and coordinate the process for dealing with subcontractor and supplier claims.
- Finalize all contracts following detailed analysis of defect management and variation tracking.
- Compile accurate and timely monthly reports for the team.
- Desirable qualifications include a Construction Degree or equivalent and proficiency in relevant construction management software.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a dynamic team environment.
