The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment used in Sydney's Light Rail system, with a focus on power supply systems such as switchgear, rectifiers, passenger stops, and wayside electrical equipment. This role requires close collaboration with the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely.

  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance activities as assigned by the supervisor
  • Understand and follow operational manuals and safety procedures
  • Monitor alarm and failure reports for sub-systems
  • Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and OEMs
  • Track inventory levels and report low material quantities to the supervisor
  • Complete accurate shift reports and work orders detailing completion times

As part of our team, you will work collaboratively to complete tasks and projects on time, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to improve overall performance.
