Job Overview:

Our Sydney Light Rail project is currently looking for experienced individuals to join the infrastructure operations team in Randwick. The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance of systems and associated equipment under their scope at the Sydney Light Rail Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform isolation of catenary equipment as necessary;
  • Carry out preventative maintenance according to Maintenance Schedules and repair of OHW and Track components;
  • Perform Fault Troubleshooting, Investigation;
  • Regularly monitor Overhead and Track defects and failures and liaise with key stakeholders;
  • Mitigating the risk of in service failures through proactive intervention;
  • Organise labour and materials as needed to enable the completion of duties;
  • Actively participate in the reduction of Deviations from Standard reported each month on Health, Safety or Environmental Grounds, as per ALSTOM procedures;

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a maintenance background is an advantage but not essential;
  • Must be able to work on call (rostered) - shift work, nights and weekends;
  • Hold a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Rail Traction or Distribution;
  • Hold an EWP Ticket;
