This role involves driving territory expansion through the development of strategic plans and effective utilization of company resources. It requires a deep understanding of medical devices, orthopedic surgical procedures, and strong communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop business opportunities in the QLD territory to drive revenue and market share growth.
- Establish strong partnerships with surgeons, hospitals, and clinical staff to position the company as a trusted provider of orthopedic care solutions.
- Provide expert case coverage and clinical support for the company's products to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Educate and train surgeons and hospital staff on the clinical benefits and technical applications of the company's solutions.
- Organize and lead events, workshops, and training programs to promote the company's technologies.
- Execute a territory sales strategy, including developing an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
- Offer regular market insights and competitive intelligence to the leadership team.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring product availability and proper utilization within the territory.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, industry conferences, and trade shows as required.
- Collaborate with the product development team by providing surgeon feedback and clinical insights to support innovation.
- Maintain compliance with Australian healthcare regulations and industry codes of conduct.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in orthopaedics, trauma, or limb reconstruction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive territory growth and exceed sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures, implants, and instrumentation.
- Operating room experience with a proven ability to provide technical support during surgery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel within Queensland and nationally as required.
- Valid driver's license.
