The School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation is dedicated to producing high-quality research and educational programs in sport and exercise science, clinical exercise physiology, and high-performance sport.
We are seeking a part-time Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology on a continuing basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging teaching and clinical supervision across areas such as Clinical Exercise Medicine, Musculoskeletal and Occupational Conditions, Metabolic and Other Clinical Conditions, and Professional and Interprofessional Practice.
Key responsibilities include contributing to innovative course design, developing high-quality assessments, and delivering teaching in various formats, from lectures and labs to online learning. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to grow your research profile through collaboration with colleagues, industry partners, and community partners, supporting the school's vision to drive excellence in education, research, and clinical practice.
As a Lecturer, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, utilizing blended learning approaches. To be successful, you will also require:
- A PhD or near-completion of a PhD, or equivalent industry and professional experience in clinical exercise physiology or a related discipline, with a willingness to commence a PhD.
- Eligibility for membership and professional accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Experience teaching at the tertiary level, including face-to-face, blended, and fully online teaching.
- Experience as a practising accredited exercise physiologist and clinical educator.
