- Maintaining high-quality medical imaging services to patients and referrers is paramount.
- The successful candidate will oversee operational activities of the Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT), Clinical Assistants, and Patient Care Assistant teams.
- Key responsibilities include maintaining rosters for clinical staff at the site, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment, resolving faults/issues, and advising management.
- Strategic planning and coordination with Radiologists, modality supervisors, and staff are essential.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- 10+ years' experience working in radiology day-to-day operations expertise.
- Proven leadership ability, proficient in supervising staff designated to their area of supervision.
- Demonstrated training and teaching abilities for both undergraduate and postgraduate staff.
- High level competence in General X-ray, DEXA, CT, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, and Mammography.
- Medical Imaging degree qualification.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with RIS/PACS.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with effective relationships and communication.
- Patient-focused approach with genuine empathy and interest in patient needs.
