About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Category Manager Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Category Manager to develop and implement product strategies that drive sales and growth across our retail and trade channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Assist in the creation and management of product ranges that meet the needs of our key retail and trade customers.
- Sales and Performance Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and performance strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Category Management: Support the Category Manager in the management of product categories, including product development, pricing, and inventory management.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, working in a cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience working in an omni-channel retailer is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
