We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team at Super Retail Group. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving category profit and contribution through alignment of the range offering with trade partners, customers, and market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales, GP, and Trade Partner support to budget
  • Deliver new product development against category targets, including development of private branded products
  • Ensure category range planning is reviewed regularly, analyse/plan range change implementation, impacts ensuring that plans are supported through inventory budgets, space plans & layouts
  • Develop & implement category strategic plans, driving relevant and appealing offers to support delivery of SCA strategic objectives
  • Plan promotional activities across all channels, maximising sales, units, and gross profit
  • Conduct regular competitor reviews & proactively addressing price changes and currency movements, ensuring margins are being achieved
About You

  • Category management experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience with trade customers
  • Strategic mindset with forward-thinking approach
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective business relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • High-level analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills
