Job Title:Mental Health Safety Specialist

About the Role:

As a Mental Health Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to our community. You will work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to advise on patient safety needs and initiatives, driving quality management and strategic development of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on mental health-related matters
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret data and trends for service-wide patient safety and quality improvement
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement patient safety initiatives
  • Conduct ethical decision-making exercises to achieve organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in mental health or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
