Job Description

The Casual Teacher Electrical Telecommunications is a dynamic role that requires an experienced and student-focused teacher to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver education practices that engage learners effectively.
  • Ensure teaching materials meet regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
  • Adapt learning materials for diverse students, environments, facilities, and resources.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to areas taught.
  • Assist in establishing, maintaining, and reviewing teaching programs.
  • Promote a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent knowledge transfer skills, able to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent qualifications meeting the Standards for RTO 2015.
  • Vocational qualifications at an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level based on the required teaching level and ability to teach across all year levels and competencies of the trade.
  • Trade qualification/Trade certificate and current industry experience in Telecommunications.
  • Registration with relevant professional associations (as required for the specific discipline).
  • A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver.
  • A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
