About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Labourer to join our team in Tamworth. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our client in asphalt paving, pavement construction, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general labouring duties, including raking, shovelling, and smoothing out asphalt
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity
  • Assist in repairing roads and maintaining pavement surfaces
  • Operate manual handling equipment and perform physical tasks, including lifting and repetitive duties
  • Travel to various work sites in the Tamworth area, with occasional overnight stays required
Requirements
  • Hold a current driver's license (HR-HC licenses highly advantageous)
  • Hold an RII/VOC in roller operations and have proven experience (advantageous)
  • Have a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow safety protocols
  • Be able to work weekends and travel away from home as required
  • Hold a White card and be able to provide current work references
  • Be willing to complete online inductions and drug and alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process
