**Job Summary**

Programmed is currently recruiting for skilled asphalt operators to assist our client in the Tamworth area. Our client is a leading provider of asphalt products and materials for surfacing and maintenance of road networks.

About the Role:

  • Monday to Friday day work, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work
  • General labouring duties when required
  • Repairing roads, raking, shovelling, and smoothing out asphalt
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Operating a HR-HC tipper truck and a roller
  • Physical work involving manual handling, lifting, and repetitive duties
  • Travel and overnight stays required for some projects
  • Working in a team environment

About You:

  • Hold a current driver's license, with HR-HC licenses highly advantageous
  • Hold an RII/VOC in roller operations and have proven experience
  • Have an excellent attitude towards safety
  • Be willing to travel and work weekends as required
  • Hold a White card
  • Be able to provide current work references
  • Be willing and able to complete online inductions and drug and alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process
