About the Role

We are seeking a skilled mobile plant mechanic to fill a permanent full-time position in the Hunter Valley Region.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining large-scale mobile mining equipment, including CAT trucks, dozers, loaders, Hitachi excavators and ancillary equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements and tire rotations;
  • Diagnostics and fault finding using technical documentation and computer-based systems;
  • Servicing and repairing complex equipment, including component change-outs and breakdown repairs;
  • Conducting routine inspections to optimize equipment utilization;
  • Working effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Current NSW Order 43 Medical certification or willingness to obtain.
