Technical Leadership

We are seeking an exceptional technical leader to drive the team's technical roadmap and set technical aspirations.

The successful candidate will architect and oversee scalable, resilient, and secure systems while championing engineering best practices and coding standards.

Mentor engineers to foster growth and technical excellence, exemplified through code reviews, advocate for system and process improvements, and leverage new technologies, especially in AI.

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, influence decisions, ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with regulations, and manage incidents while promoting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated experience as an engineering tech leader with a deep understanding of building highly scalable, secure, and resilient systems within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong engineering capability, deep understanding of software design, architecture, and modern software development practices
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and operating complex, high-performance systems at scale, ideally within a fast-paced organisation, with the ability to anticipate extensibility and scale into solutions
  • Able to lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, understanding and anticipating extensibility into solutions
