We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical engineering team in delivering medium to large EPC and EPCM projects. As part of our interdisciplinary engineering team, you will work closely with other engineers to plan, design, develop, and evaluate electrical components and processes.
About the Job
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in leading teams on complex projects. You will be responsible for planning and conducting independent electrical work, providing technical input for procurement requirements, and reviewing bid evaluations and awards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes used in the generation, transmission, and storage of electricity.
- Technical Input: Provide technical input for procurement requirements, ensuring that all necessary documents and information are complete and accurate.
- Bid Evaluations: Review and make recommendations on electrical engineering aspects of bid evaluations and awards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers to deliver project objectives.
- Communication: Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to upper management.
- Clients: Coordinate with client representatives to obtain their approval of electrical engineering aspects of the work.
- Conceptual Design: Develop conceptual designs for electrical engineering projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements.
- Estimates and Staffing: Support the preparation of estimates, staffing needs, and schedules.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. You will also need to have knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the electrical engineering discipline.
