Electrical Instrumentation Professional

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality electrical, instrumentation and control design solutions. Requisition ID: 96282.

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This is an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team delivering technical and strategic services to the energy sector.

  • Delivery of the electrical, instrumentation and control design scope will be your key responsibility.
  • You will coordinate primary & secondary systems, station SCADA, station electrical services, ICT and ensure seamless integration.
  • Coordination of building services contractor electrical and security / access control scope will also fall under your purview.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Experience with HV Substation / HVDC converter station design is highly desirable.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Design/Engineering manager skillset, substation / converter design experience preferred.
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
  • High Voltage Substation / Transmission experience across AC and DC systems is required.
  • Australian (Victorian / Tasmanian) transmission market experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills are necessary to thrive in complex and changing environments.
