Job Description

The Autism Spectrum Consultant plays a critical role in bridging the gap between autistic individuals and corporate organizations, ensuring seamless integration and productivity. As an ASC, you will provide direct support to autistic employees, fostering a collaborative work environment that values diversity and promotes understanding.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver autism awareness training to employers, managers, and colleagues to promote empathy and inclusivity.
  • Work with technical staff and trainers to understand the needs and working methods of autistic employees.
  • Implement strategies for reaching work and life goals through the learning curriculum.
  • Provide support to technical staff and trainers to ensure individuals are supported to succeed in the workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human sciences discipline or equivalent life/career experience.
  • Strength-based approach in supporting autistic individuals in the workplace.
  • Experience in person-centred planning and approaches.
  • Experience in identifying, developing, and delivering training.
