About the Student Ambassador Role

As a student ambassador, you will play a vital role in representing the university and assisting with the delivery of events that engage future students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Represent the university in a professional manner at various events including open days, university expos, campus tours, and presentations to prospective students.
  • Proactively engage future students and other stakeholders such as parents, careers advisors, school principals, and teachers, and share your experiences of university life with diverse audiences.
  • Lead informative tours for individuals and groups of prospective students.
  • Deliver engaging workshops and presentations about the university, admissions, scholarships, transition into university, and what university is like.
  • Undertake tasks such as event preparation, social media management, data entry, and phone calls to students.
Requirements:
  • You must have completed at least one semester of study at the university by the end of 2025 and have at least one year of study remaining.
  • You must have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
  • You should possess excellent customer service skills.
