Job Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Field Service Technician. This role requires exceptional technical abilities and strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with clients and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Utilize market intelligence to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Support the Customer Service Manager by addressing requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to clients on our products, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and product understanding.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or Heavy Plant Mechanic/Fitter with hydraulic and electrical system expertise.
  • A successful record of identifying customer needs and providing quality customer service.
  • Technical competence in interpreting customer requirements and practical troubleshooting ability.
  • Prior experience in the heavy equipment industry is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
