Urbis is seeking a suitably qualified professional with a strong client focus, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver technical excellence to join our Melbourne practice as part of the wider national heritage team. We are looking for someone with a passion for built heritage who is wanting to develop their career.

This position would suit someone who has a minimum of ten years' experience in a similar role with a combination of the following competencies:

">

- In-depth understanding of heritage principles and statutory heritage legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced ability to interpret complex heritage issues, provide strategic advice to clients and negotiate outcomes with stakeholders.
- Excellent client, project and time management skills.
- Advanced understanding of Australian architectural history, fabric analysis and building conservation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within timeframe and budget.

This position requires a strong background in heritage principles and an advanced understanding of Australian architectural history, fabric analysis and building conservation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of ten years' experience in a similar role with exceptional communication skills.
