Job Summary

The Extend Group is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a cluster of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing remote teams, overseeing service management, and building strong relationships with educators, principals, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools, ensuring high-quality service delivery and staff engagement.
  • Oversee all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design, business operations, and team motivation.
  • Conduct educator appraisals and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews.
  • Manage monthly rosters and reporting.

Requirements

  • Past people management experience, preferably in the Child Care or Education sector.
  • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current VIC Working with Children's check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided).
