About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Mining Equipment Technician to join our team in Mount Isa, QLD. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their mining operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis work on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
  • Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
  • Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
  • Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, time records.
  • Adhering to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policies
About You
  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated previous experience with Trucks, Loaders and Drilling mobile mining equipment would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong and proven safety culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals
  • Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Class C Manual Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
