Job Description:

A skilled CAD Coordinator is required to develop, implement and maintain company-wide CAD standards, templates, libraries and procedures across the design and production teams.

  • Align drafting practices, maintain consistent quality, and promote collaboration between sites.
  • Support the delivery of efficient, accurate and standardized CAD outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Standards & Template Management
  • Develop standard CAD templates across multiple disciplines.
  • Lead the development and control of company Design & Production Standard Detail Books.
CAD Libraries & Data Management
  • Maintain and standardize Stock and Equipment Libraries, 2D & 3D Block Libraries, Workshare and Sandbox environments, and CAD standards for relevant platforms.
  • E nsure CAD data is structured, version-controlled, and accessible in alignment with protocols.
Drafting Systems & Quality Control
  • O oversee CAD and Navisworks procedures and modelling workflows.
  • Establish and maintain drafting and modelling checklists, sheet set guidelines, and output protocols.
  • Manage folder structures and file naming conventions for drafting outputs.
Training & Support
  • Support onboarding and upskilling of drafting personnel.
  • Deliver training in CAD software.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and act as the primary point of contact for CAD-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Drafting, Engineering Design, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in relevant CAD platforms (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant, and SolidWorks.
