Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing wet fire systems and fire fighting equipment to Australian standards.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician, you will travel to various sites to complete service works and update your service notes. You must possess a strong understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service all wet fire systems and fire fighting equipment to Australian standards.
  • Conduct routine inspection, testing and servicing of wet fire systems - sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and pumps.
  • Installation of wet fire systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work.
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding service work.
  • Isolate panels to conduct testing of the wet fire systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Cert III in Fire Protection (desired).
  • Demonstrated experience working with wet fire systems.
  • Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118.
  • Ability to test, repair and install.
  • Drivers licence.
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
