The Role – NSW Transport Manager

You will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance while managing site risks. You'll also manage costs and meet financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct transport operations to achieve objectives.
  • Provide transportation rates.
  • Ensure supply for contracts of transportation services.
  • Analyse financial impacts of proposed logistics changes.
  • Analyse financial records to improve efficiency.
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes or routing.
  • Oversee job allocations.
  • Ensure sufficient resources match distribution needs.
  • Liaise with clients on issues, providing relevant advice and solutions.
  • Monitor driver performance.
  • Source Contractors as required.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to reports.
  • Motivate staff and contractor drivers.
  • Meet budgeted targets to ensure gross profit.
To Be Successful in the Role You Will Need
  • Transport Manager Experience
  • Excellent business acumen to solve operational issues.
