Job Overview

Embark on a drilling traineeship journey in Western Australia's Pilbara and Goldfields regions, where you'll gain invaluable experience and on-the-job training on active Reverse Circulation or Diamond rigs.

You will be trained by experienced drillers and work with prominent drilling companies, building connections while enjoying rewarding rates and performance bonuses.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow the guidance of senior drillers and conduct daily pre-start equipment checks
  • Complete necessary safety documentation and processes
  • Assist with routine rig/machine/equipment/tool maintenance and cleaning
  • Load and unload heavy vehicles
  • Support set up/dismantle/move rigs and associated equipment
  • Handle drill rods, sample bags, core trays, etc.

As an offsider, you will need to demonstrate strong physical and mental fitness to cope with the demands of the role, including working in confined spaces, dust, and other environmental challenges.
