About This Role

We are seeking an accomplished educational leader to spearhead the establishment of a new high school in Edmondson Park. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of curriculum, systems, and processes for this innovative institution.

  • The Head Teacher will lead the creation of quality teaching and learning programs that cater to the needs of students in the Edmondson Park and Bardia communities.
  • They will work closely with the leadership team to establish foundational structures, including staff recruitment and community connections, to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in driving improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice, as well as knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and lead inclusive teaching and learning programs that promote academic excellence and student success.
  • Buid and manage the performance of individuals and teams to ensure optimal results.
  • Plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning initiatives.
