Strategic Portfolio Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will develop and refine our portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment across business units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and evaluating the portfolio strategy.
  • Formulating energy risk management policy and metrics to assess and mitigate risks, including market volatility and regulatory changes.
  • Providing quarterly market outlooks and performing forward curve analysis to identify trends, informing strategic decisions.
  • Supervising wholesale market performance reporting, risk metrics, customer performance, and financial analysis to ensure portfolio success.
  • Collaborating with development, delivery, sales, and customer solutions teams to integrate data-driven insights into portfolio offerings.
  • Identifying opportunities for expansion, particularly in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and peaking assets, and developing growth strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in energy market analytics, portfolio strategy, and risk management within the energy sector.
  • Proven track record in developing successful energy portfolio strategies, understanding market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking, communicating complex data to senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills, managing high-performing teams, and fostering positive work environments.
