Lead Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned portfolio strategist to play a pivotal role in shaping our company's strategic direction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining our Portfolio Strategy, ensuring alignment with Sales and Asset Portfolios.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with analytical expertise and excellent collaboration skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate the Portfolio Strategy, ensuring alignment with Sales and Asset Portfolios.
  • Formulate the Energy Risk Management Policy and associated metrics, ensuring comprehensive assessment and mitigation of risks.
  • Provide quarterly market outlooks and perform forward curve analysis to identify market trends.
  • Supervise reporting and monitoring of wholesale market performance, risk metrics, customer performance, and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with Development, Delivery, Sales, and Customer Solutions teams to integrate data-driven insights and strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems and peaking assets.
  • Develop strategies to align the energy portfolio with market demand and customer preferences.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in energy market analytics, portfolio strategy, and risk management within the energy sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful energy portfolio strategies.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • A deep understanding of renewable energy markets, including BESS and firming technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
