Job Overview

As a vital component of the Defence Industry, this role plays a critical part in supporting the Australian Defence Force across the country.

We are currently seeking tanker truck drivers and operators to work with our team at a Darwin RAAF base location.

The Role Summary
  • Operate fuel tanker trucks safely around the fuel installation and defence base
  • Collaborate closely with operators to load fuel tank trucks effectively
  • Deliver fuel to designated refuelling points, aircraft on the runway, etc.
  • Operate pumps on tanker trucks for efficient fuel delivery
  • Communicate with internal and external teams for excellent customer experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a valid MC/HC Driver's Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential for success in this role
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly valued
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams
  • Current holder of, or able to obtain relevant security clearances
