We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our APAC Crewing team. This is a unique opportunity to work on our esteemed vessel, the Skandi Singapore, and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the vessel's engines and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with the crew to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • A current Chief Engineer/1st Engineer or similar with proven experience in a similar position with long term experience working on DOF vessels.
  • Hold a current Chief Engineer COC CLI certification.
  • Certified and completed STCW requirements.
  • Valid BOSIET/FOET and a CAEBS/EBS is essential.
  • A Norwegian medical is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interface engagement skills to influence personnel at all levels.
