Role Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals and those around them. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with a strong team of qualified PBS Leaders in an environment that fosters the advancement of clinical skills through a robust clinical support structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that include function-based strategies.
  • Provide training and education to stakeholders on behaviour support best practices.
  • Regularly review and reduce restrictive practices in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
  • Collect and monitor data on progress to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with the NDIS and endorsement against the PBS Capability Framework.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Experience supervising or coaching others or willingness to develop clinical leadership skills.
  • Current Australian driver's license and ability to travel with your own vehicle for home visits.
