Compassionate Oncology Nurse Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our dynamic team working across our Oncology Ward. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be friendly and approachable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
This is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals including surgeons, doctors, nurses, and allied health staff.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving treatment for various types of cancer. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualised care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care.
You will also have the opportunity to specialise in areas that interest you, while working in a supportive and innovative team environment.
Our teams are led by experienced team leaders who will provide guidance and support, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care.
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members.
- Provide education and support to individuals and their families to manage their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Lead quality improvement and safety management projects.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider healthcare team.
- Role model safe practice at all times.
- Current registration with AHPRA (no restriction).
- Demonstrated experience administering infusions.
- 2+ years oncology experience (desirable).
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
