We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Healthcare Staffing. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to clients with communication disorders.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Perform detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' communication skills, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
  • Collaboration and Education: Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, and educate clients and their families on effective communication strategies and techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Registration: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution, and valid registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
