Care Coordinator for Vulnerable Families

Yourtown, a trusted provider of services for young people, is seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator to join our team in the Scenic Rim. As a Child Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality child care and support to families who have experienced domestic and family violence.
The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of programs and activities for children and families, supervise and care for children within the refuge setting, and deliver children's activities and adjunct care. You will also support parents to strengthen their parenting skills, develop and participate in social, recreational, and educational activities for children and parents.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, with participation in the on-call roster. We are looking for a flexible and adaptable individual who can work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve best practice outcomes for women and families.
You will bring:
- passion, commitment, and belief in young people
- minimum Certificate III Childcare or relevant Certificate IV qualification and at least 3 years' experience working with children and families
- demonstrated experience or a good understanding and ability to learn quickly how to work with vulnerable children and families with complex needs
- knowledge of or a willingness to develop knowledge of legislation relating to domestic and family violence and child protection
- ability to work collaboratively to increase parental capacity and to communicate with and engage children and families with complex social and family concerns
We offer a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
