Job Opportunity for First Nations Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced First Nations Registered Nurse to join our team in developing and delivering high-quality nursing education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lecture, teach, assess, and mark nursing students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
  • Teach lecture and tutorial classes
  • Develop First Nations units for Diploma, Bachelor, and Master's level nursing courses
  • Advise on the suitability of other units from a First Nations perspective
  • Assist in developing support services and systems for First Nation students

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver culturally responsive and inclusive nursing education programs that meet the needs of our students and the broader community.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated lived experience and broader understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and engagement with community
  • Strong understanding of theory and practice
  • Excellent presentation and leadership skills
