Community Association Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Community Association Manager. This position will involve managing the day-to-day activities of our community, ensuring that all residents feel welcome and supported.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a board of directors, and possess a positive demeanor. They should also have strong mathematical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom.

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours with some evening and weekend requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing budgets, and overseeing maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of vendor, insurance, and legal matters
  • Prepare annual budget for operating and reserves
  • Monitor progress of maintenance schedules
  • Enforce rules and regulations of the association
  • Communicate effectively with residents and trustees via phone, site visits, and email
  • Evaluate contracts for practical cost savings and efficiency
  • Oversee management of facilities provided by outside contractors and vendors
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards
  • Solicit bids for maintenance contracts and construction projects
  • Review monthly reports and prepare reports for the association
Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governing documents
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to groups
