Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect to receive an estimated annual salary ranging from AU$90,000 to AU$120,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a key role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.

You will be responsible for developing personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation. This will involve completing a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS). You will also utilise your problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.

You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors. Your ability to present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions will be essential in driving the desired goal.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA;
  • Full Australian working rights;
  • Current driver's license and car.
