Cloud Architect Opportunity

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in shaping the cloud strategy for our public sector clients within the Australian Government community. As a Cloud Architect, you will partner with cross-functional teams to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This position requires a deep understanding of AWS technologies and the ability to develop broad knowledge of how applications and services are built on the AWS platform. You will drive technical solution discussions, collaborate with customer teams, and build relationships with stakeholders from technical teams to executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical engagement and ensure success around specific implementation projects
  • Develop expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of application development on the AWS platform
  • Drive technical solution discussions, collaborate with customer teams, and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
  • Build relationships with customers and partners; act as a trusted advisor to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives
  • Accelerate adoption of AWS services while aligning short-term decisions with long-term goals
  • Act as a thought leader by educating others, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers/blogs, and running workshops
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to gather customer feedback and shape product direction
  • Work with public sector customers in the Australian Government, National Security, and Defence; handle highly sensitive work and strategic outcomes

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries
  • 4+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
