Electrical Team Lead - Production Engineering Support

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Team Lead to join our Production Engineering Support team. As the ideal candidate, you will have significant experience in electrical engineering and be able to apply your technical knowledge to resolve shipbuilding issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize and lead a team of engineers and para-professionals.
  • Conduct technical assessments to resolve electrical engineering issues during shipbuilding.
  • Interface between the Production Engineering team, Ship Management, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain repair threshold documents in collaboration with design authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a professional Electrical Engineer.
  • Engineering degree qualified, satisfying the requirements for Chartered membership of the institute of Engineers Australia.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively under limited supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills along with excellent customer relations skills.
  • Understanding of requirements, design, safety, and verification.
