Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to lead the design and implementation of clinical education programs that support high-quality, evidence-based care.

The successful candidate will champion continuous learning, enhance clinical excellence, and foster system-wide improvement while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practice models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead, support and educate staff on clinical topics to improve patient outcomes and safety
  • Culture Development: Promote a culture of learning and development among healthcare professionals
  • Wellness Initiatives: Develop and implement wellness programs with stakeholders to promote healthy lifestyles
  • Risk Management: Consult with clinical leaders to address clinical risks and develop strategies for mitigation
  • Process Improvement: Improve clinical systems and processes through education and training to enhance patient care
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practice models in all aspects of clinical governance
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Diploma of Training Design and Development
  • 5 years post graduate clinical experience within aged care and 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator
  • Ability to prepare, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs across multiple locations
  • Research literature and source relevant legislation, standards, best practice and guidelines
  • Demonstrate advanced practice expertise with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment
