Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and operational support to a team of maintenance professionals working in remote locations across Australia. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic guidance and direction to the maintenance teams to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety culture within the workplace, adhering to HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with asset and maintenance processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to identify growth opportunities.
  • Leading by example and fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork.
  • Scheduling and planning complex work over multiple areas in a remote setting.
  • Effective reporting and communication with stakeholders.
  • Building effective and engaged teams through strong leadership skills.
  • Managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in facilities management and leadership roles.
  • A trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
  • Experience in project and asset or infrastructure management desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to existing and ongoing business needs.
  • Effective communicator and able to inform reporting.
  • Construction White card (essential).
